- Buy certified ingredients: Seek out certifications from organizations like Rainforest Alliance/UEBT and FairWild.
- Engage fairly with harvesters: Build transparent relationships and ensure fair pricing.
- Support traditional knowledge: Recognize and value the ecological wisdom of harvesting communities.
- Be transparent with consumers: Clearly communicate your sourcing practices.
